Paint and riddle

Today I helped paint Anthony’s den green.  It was lovely.  He was going to go with a beige or white but I convinced him to go daring.  Be bold!  I told him.  And the end result was absolutely awesome.

Here’s an almost finished picture of part of the room.  The trim still needs to be stained and put back on the walls and the corner is still wet in this shot.  But the color is fantastic for Anthony’s earthy personality.  Bold but not ridiculous.

Have I mentioned that I love to paint.  Holy cow do I love it.  I will paint any of your houses for free.

Oh the job front (ugh, you’re thinking, is she really still talking about employment?) I have an interview on Monday with a highly recommendable engineer for a boss.  He sounds wonderfully cheerful and personable on the phone.  I simply can’t wait to meet him.  I’ve come to the realization that not only do I love to paint, but I also love going on job interviews.

I’m going to leave you with a riddle.  80% of kindergartners get this riddle and 5% of Stamford graduates figured it out.  Here goes:

What is greater than God, more evil than the Devil, poor people have it, rich people don’t want it, and if you eat it you will die?
