And so it begins.

Well this is new.

This is the first time in my 5 years of blogging that I am censoring myself. Ironically, by censoring myself I am opening up a whole new world of being able to write everything that I’ve always wanted to write but couldn’t. You see, there are some members of my family that I welcome into my world of blogging wholeheartedly and then there are the few that I’d like to repel. The benefits of moving via the internet is that now I can swear and tell you all of my personal secrets without wondering whether or not I will be blacklisted by those near and dear.

So welcome to this here new blog. There’s a lot of work to be done to make it feel more like a blog, but it’s a start.

If you’d like your blog website added to my blogroll, let me know in the comments. 🙂

My sister and Laura came to visit today! The four of us went to a movie and lunch.

Definitely go see Persuit of Happiness if you haven’t already. It’s probably one of the better flicks I’ve seen lately.

>1 mile to work

It snowed on Friday night with accumulation actually worth mentioning for the first time this winter. Sean and I had been cleaning out the closets and packing all of our unnecessary belongings into huge tubs to store in the garage when we noticed that it was snowing outside, and snowing heavily.

He and I had a snowball fight during one of our trips to the garage, and hours later our roommates were pelting our windows with the stuff. It was a great way to ring in the winter, even though winter was supposed to start months ago.

Here is what I saw out my window when I awoke for work on Saturday:

And this is what my drive to work looked like:

Even though I’ve loved this extremely mild and snowless winter, it was nice to wake up to the frosty goodness, especially since I now have a 4WD vehicle.
