>1 mile to work

It snowed on Friday night with accumulation actually worth mentioning for the first time this winter. Sean and I had been cleaning out the closets and packing all of our unnecessary belongings into huge tubs to store in the garage when we noticed that it was snowing outside, and snowing heavily.

He and I had a snowball fight during one of our trips to the garage, and hours later our roommates were pelting our windows with the stuff. It was a great way to ring in the winter, even though winter was supposed to start months ago.

Here is what I saw out my window when I awoke for work on Saturday:

And this is what my drive to work looked like:

Even though I’ve loved this extremely mild and snowless winter, it was nice to wake up to the frosty goodness, especially since I now have a 4WD vehicle.
